Spring 2017 Graduation and Closing Ceremony
IAU is proud to announce the first graduation ceremony to take place this Friday, May 12, 2017 at 4pm beginning at the Statue of Roi René near the top of the Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence, France. Guests will meet here and proceed together to the Closing Ceremony and Graduation. Present will be IAU President, Dr. Carl Jubran as well as members of the IAU Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff.
Speakers will be trustee and IAU alumnus Kurt Volker (former US representative to NATO) among other noted IAU faculty and staff. Following opening remarks, academic prizes will be awarded along with the conference of diplomas to IAU’s first graduating class of Masters’ students. Professors and Graduates will be wearing graduation regalia while study abroad students will be wearing sashes handed out before the start of the procession. Host families and notable members from the city of Aix have been invited to this landmark event.
